Zephyr

Sunflowers blossom in the deep abyss of night
a single daisy stand fast on the charcoaled ground
as a beacon whence the maelstroms' ire unfolds
and the first candle ignite the fire in heaven

The pounding rain strike the encumbered earth
drops of acid makes its way through the surface
tears of wax spiral downwards around the body
and the second candle quietly cease to suspire

Mist seep from the bark shrouding falling leaves
once again the unknown is only some few steps away
the wicks' flame flicker from the cold icey gale
and the third candle falters in the gray penumbra

Daylight fill the sky and extinguish the darkness
silence surpass and quench the chaotic cacaphony
past ashes fan out across the shimmering fields
and the forth candle perish by the zephyrs' touch
