I've sought to gaze at the sky
I've ignored the pain within
I've beheld the deepest abyss
I've watched the moon rise
I've walked amongst dead people
I've seen the heavens cry
I've prayed that time would pass
I've slept in cold shadows
I've spoken with my demons
I've never faltered in my faith
Yet so close, I stumble
and life seem farther away than ever
